Mr. Chu is Special Counsel to the law firm of Capretz and Associates. He is a native of Central Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. After Drexel University, Mr. Chu went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law also in Philadelphia, PA, where he served as an associate editor for the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and was the president of the Asian American Law Students Association. Prior to Capretz & Associates, Mr. Chu concentrated his practice on securities class action litigation and lender liability litigation. Mr. Chu currently focuses on cases involving medical products liability, pharmaceutical products liability, elder and dependent abuse, nursing home liability and consumer fraud. Mr. Chu is actively involved in cases involving the St. Jude Silzone Heart Valves, Digitek, Avandia and the Toyota Recall Multi-District Litigation.
Mr. Chu is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of California, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and all state courts in the State of California.
